We are thrilled to welcome Tarryn Jeftha to our 4 Life team this April.

Tarryn is a Physiotherapist with extensive experience in Neuro Physiotherapy, learn more about Tarryn and how she may assist you below.

Tarryn’s, greatest desire as a physiotherapist is to see participants integrate into a purposeful, inclusive, and meaningful life. She believes in customising treatment plans accordingly to participants’ goals and aspirations. She has worked with many conditions such as strokes, global developmental delays, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, cerebral palsy, polio, amputations, fibula hemimelia, autism, dementia, and spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries to name a few. She has worked with participants in both regional, rural, and metro regions in Australia and South Africa from every age group.

“A program that has not been tested does not work”- Bjarne Stroustrup. She is a keen advocate of using evidence-based practice. Her master’s degree in Physiotherapy focused on spinal cord injuries and she has spent 3 years working on international research studies focusing on the prevention of amputations, improving lived experiences of spinal cord injury survivors, and lecturing undergraduate physiotherapy students. Her learning since then has not stopped. She is continually engaged in neurological and disability courses to keep her clinical interventions relevant and evidence-based so that she is better able to assist you with your goals.
