What Is Podiatry?
When most people think of Podiatry, they picture trimming nails or prescribing orthotics. In fact, Podiatrists can assist with the assessment, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of a wide range of musculoskeletal, medical and surgical conditions affecting the feet, ankles and lower limbs.
Your feet are complex structures, containing more bones and joints than any other part of the body, as well as numerous muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves and other structures that all need to work together for optimal foot function. Our feet are put through a lot in our daily lives, be it standing, walking, running, jumping, or climbing stairs, and as such can be prone to injury and dysfunction.
Tired and painful feet are not just a normal part of life and should not be ignored. Foot problems can have a significant impact on our quality of life, and as such, should be assessed by a qualified health professional. Early assessment and treatment leads to improved outcomes.
The expert team at 4 Life Podiatry have the knowledge and experience to provide all your foot care needs to the highest quality.
