At 4 Life Exercise Physiology, our mission is to encourage all clients to lead happy, healthy and pain free lives.
We believe that Exercise is Medicine and that all people, despite medical conditions, painful joints, or weight issues can safely partake in an exercise program when it is prescribed by one of our Accredited Exercise Physiologists.
4 Life Exercise Physiology provides services to private clients, as well as DVA, NDIS, motor vehicle insurance, worker’s compensation, and Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan patients. Our clinic boasts a fully equipped rehabilitation gym and Pilates studio. We can also assist with offsite sessions at your home, local pools and gyms. or at the park to cater for all of your training needs.

What Is An Exercise Physiologist?
An exercise physiologist is an Allied Health professional who specialises in the benefits of exercise to help patients get fitter for all around good health, or to prevent, treat and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions or injury, through exercise.
Exercise physiologists can assist with the treatment of medical conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, obesity, cancer, osteoporosis, depression, asthma and cardiovascular diseases, as well as many other conditions.
Exercise Physiologists are much more than just a personal trainer. Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists are university trained specialists and have a wide range of knowledge about the human body and the benefit that exercise has on it, both mentally and physically. They can prescribe exercises for either fitness or rehabilitation. They can also advise on behavioural modification programs.

NDIS Disability Exercise Physiology
Here at 4 Life Physiotherapy, we have an experienced team of NDIS registered Exercise Physiologists ready to assist you to build your capacity and achieve your goals. Our NDIS Exercise Physiology team can be delivered by a combination of in-clinic, hydrotherapy pool and at-home services to maximise your plans budget and get the most out of your therapy sessions.

Visiting an Exercise Physiologist
At 4 Life Exercise Physiology we want to empower you to take control of your health and as such, education and motivational strategies are a key component to our programs. We can help you get started on the right track and give you the support, confidence and empowerment to achieve and sustain your training goals.
Referral
A medical referral from your GP or specialist is only required if you are making a claim under Workers Compensation, DVA, Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance or Chronic Disease Management Plans. Private patients can attend without a referral. Tyro is available onsite for claiming private health rebates.
Assessment
Before beginning an exercise program we carry out a comprehensive health and functional assessments and undertake a lifestyle evaluation. This ensures that all our exercise programs are safe and tailored to your needs, taking into account any pre-existing medical conditions and the goals you set.
Treatment
Your program will be individually tailored to your goals, needs, capabilities and preferences. We can assist with a combination of home, gym and pool based exercise programs, and can provide either 1 on 1, 2 on 1, or group services. You will also be provided with education and advice as part of our holistic service approach.
Sustained Results
We are passionate about helping our patients improve their lifestyles for the better, long term. To gain ongoing benefits from exercise it is important to develop good habits and incorporate exercise into your normal routine. We can assist with providing home exercise programs and advice on self management strategies. For those requiring a little extra motivation, we can assist with supervised classes or periodical reviews.
